Parent participation in the learning process and life

research clearly shows that when families are actively engaged in their child's

- Take advantage of daily communication with teachers and staff members.
- Schedule conferences to discuss developmental assessments.
- Call or visit any time.
- Join your child for lunch or a school snack.
- Attend field trips and walks.
- Join us during the year for planning, organizing, and participating in family
festivals, fundraisers, potluck dinners, activities for children and parent
evenings.
- Volunteer to serve as a room parent or participate in parent groups.
