Founded in 1985 by a group of dedicated parents, Children’s House Montessori is
a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a comfortable and stimulating
environment to nurture your child’s early years.
Located on Lake Michigan between Manitowoc and Two Rivers, our unique school was
constructed with children in mind. Windows and bathrooms are scaled for child
use, and our bright classroom is well equipped with traditional Montessori
materials as well as additional contemporary activities. Outside there is a
large safe play area, jungle gym, wooden ship and gardens. Parents are welcome
to visit anytime during the year.
Classes & Programs: All
materials and activities in our classroom are designed for hands-on, minds-on
learning. Through these activities, your child will develop concentration,
motivation, independence, persistence and discipline.

Listen to the frogs and see the landscape coming to life at Woodland Dunes

teachers from local natural science, theatre, art and musical organizations.
